Updating after finishing season 6 (final season). Highly recommended, particularly for fans of the sci-fi genre. I've loved the first three seasons and the 4th looks promising too.īest of all, every few episodes brings a satisfying conclusion (so you aren't forced to binge), but those conclusions also hint at exciting things to come so you'll want to come back for more. Most impressively, even when you think they couldn't grow the scope to be more epic, they somehow do - episode after episode. The directors keep you engaged with a steady stream of action while developing their world and building your engagement with the characters. What makes The Expanse work is careful character and world development, perfect pacing, and a great storyline.
